Additional information
Enlisted 14 August 1914 into the Auckland Mounted Rifles. On enlistment his occupation was recorded as solicitor. Embarked from New Zealand 13 October 1914 and disembarked Suez 3 December 1914. Killed in action at Gallipoli 19 May 1915.
Living with his parents in Rarotonga at the time of his enlistment. His father, Henry William Northcroft was the resident magistrate and the Chief Justice and Resident Commissioner of the Cook Islands between 1913 and 1915.
