Additional information
Enlisted 9 July 1916 and arrived Egypt on SS Malwa. Employed at Moascar between January and March 1917 then to Kantara, Egypt and NZ Mounted Rifle Bde Training Regiment and Base Depot until 11 January 1918. Transferred to the Rarotongan Company and whilst in Palestine was admitted to 24th Stationary Hospital, 45th Stationary and 27th General Hospital for back injury and jaundice. Returned to New Zealand on SS Malta and discharged 20 March 1919. Died 1 August 1919 in Atiu of tuberculosis.
