Additional information
Attested 12 June 1918 in Rarotonga. Arrived in Wellington 21 June 1918 and enlisted at Narrow Neck Camp 10 July 1918. Discharged 7 December 1918 and embarked on SS Paloona for Rarotonga and arrived in Rarotonga 15 December 1918.

“On Friday, on the basis of research done by Cate Walker, Howard Weddell, Paula Paniani and Bobby Nicholas, the names of six Cook Islands soldiers were added to the New Zealand and Commonwealth War Graves Commission's official rolls of honour.”

We GPS’d and documented this grave and headstone in 2019, however when we returned in November 2022 it was apparent that the headstone had been irreparably damaged due to the use of either sandpaper or a power grinder.
