Enlisted 4 February Rarotonga and 12 March 1918 at Narrow Neck Military Training Camp.
Disembarked at Suez 4 August 1918 and on the same day was posted to the Rarotongan Company.
Embarked for New Zealand on SS Malta 14 December 1918 and discharged 20 March 1919.
In May 1921 he applied for a war pension for lumbago contracted in Egypt.
